Mommy, I made a big mess!

Nory doesn't always go to sleep immediately when we put her down for nap time or bed time. For the past year or so, we always put a few toys or books in the crib and she would play with them for a while before falling asleep. Sometimes she plays when she wakes up too. I always wait until I hear her start talking or knocking on her door or a wall before going to get her. Although now, if I'm feeding Elliott at the time, she sometimes has to wait a few minutes for me to finish.

However.

This backfired today. When I walked in after Nory's nap, I saw this. I had to leave and go get the camera, I felt that this was a moment which must be documented!

At first I couldn't even find her in the bed. It was like playing Where's Waldo.

In case you are wondering, that is her bed with all of her stuffed animals, half the books from her book shelf, all of the clothes from the lower 4 drawers of her dresser, enough Duplos to build a tower about 4 feet high, 5 blankets, a pillow, the bumpers from her crib, and some kleenex. The rest of her room wasn't much better.

And, she had managed to get her diaper off. Good heavens.

Seriously considering one of those fancy video monitors...
