Growing Up

Nory grew up, and I can't say I'm happy about it. Suddenly, she can open all of the doors in our house, 

her pants and shirts are too short,

she can reach into the top rack of the dishwasher,

she can climb up onto any counter in the house,

she can reach the top drawers in the kitchen, where we keep the sharp objects and markers,

and (sometimes with the help of her handy Ikea stool), she can see out all the windows!

I admit it, I miss the days when she was short. I know that we've had it easier than those of you out there with your tall kids, but our house is not quite ready for this tall girl!
