On a Walk

Our current (but almost previous) house is situated about a 5 minute walk from a lovely park called Farrel McWhirter.  There are some short but beautiful trails that go throughout the park, complete with horse poop for the dog to roll in.  We have not used this park as much as we imagined because on work days, it is dark when we go to work and dark when we come home.  But we have been trying to get out at least once per weekend to someplace the dog can run off leash, and today we went to Farrel McWhirter.

Here are a few pics.  It is just so different from all of our Santa Barbara hikes, but still beautiful!
