Last Thursday I was drifting off to sleep in bed at Hotel Hadfield (my friend Alicia's townhome), and I felt some weird gas bubbles in a place I'd certainly never felt gas before - way off to the lower left of my abdomen. That's weird, I thought. I suddenly realized it wasn't gas bubbles, it was baby bubbles! After all the stuff I'd read about what your baby's first movements feel like, I'm surprised I didn't think of it right away.
Since then, I've gotten better at picking up on my baby's interior tap dance routines. It is an amazing feeling. I can't wait until they are obvious enough for Dan to be able to feel them from the outside (however, I've read this won't be for a long time still). It is also very nice to feel something in my belly besides nausea!

I've felt that too!!! but I'm not as good as distinguishing it...(like it's usually not until after it happens and I start thinking about it that I realize, OH! That was BABY!)
Yay for baby bubbles...and for you starting to feel better!
Are you gonna find out the gender? Our next appt. is Jan. 5th, and we should be able to find out then. I wavered in between finding out or being surprised, but Ricardo's wanted to know since about week 7.
Yes, I believe we will find out. I was seriously leaning towards not knowing, but Dan is seriously leaning the other way. And of course, I cannot stand to have him know and not me!!!
Awww...I'm so excited! I love your little baby bubbles. And I love your baby!
