Part 3: Popsicles
What is it about kids and popsicles? Want some yogurt? Nah. But if I put it in the freezer and pull it out later as a "popsicle?" Both kids go crazy for it.
I bought a little popsicle maker lately and the kids both really enjoy it. Nory's popsicle today is diluted cranberry juice and Elliott's is water. And yes, he loves his ice-popsicle.
The kids are wet/naked in these pictures because they've been spending lots of time in the kiddie pool on the deck. It's been HOT! And no matter who you are and where you've lived, I argue that 90 degrees can be HOTTER than 119 degrees if you don't have air conditioning! I think our house stabilized around 86 degrees today.
And when they needed a break from the pool, they came in and watched Lion King while I made dinner. The kids' interest only lasted about 15 minutes but still, it was cute to see them all piled up on the couch together. Of course they wanted to be as close to daddy as possible - who cares that it was so hot they left little puddles of sweat on the couch!
