One and Three: Report Card!

I took the kids to visit Dr. Irwin yesterday for their 1 and 3 year wellness checks. I was so fortunate to have my mom come along to help - those long waits at doctor's offices with two kids are no fun by myself! Especially since I try not to let Nory touch any of the toys - I swear for a while every time I took Nory to the doctor she would get some horrible rash or cold or other illness one week later.

Elliott

Height: 28 inches (5%)
Weight: 19lb 15oz (10-25%)
HC: 17.8inches (10-25%)
Vaccines: MMR

Nory

Height: 35.8 inches (25%)
Weight: 29lb 4oz (10-25%)
Vaccines: Hep A

Funny story. The nurse measured Elliott and then went to put the numbers in the computer. After a moment she says, "huh. let's do that again." This time when she measured him and we stretched his little toes as far as they possibly could go to get him to the 28 inch mark - so that he would be "on the chart"! So yes... 5% with a little bit of cheating.

Trivia: At Nory's 1 year appointment... she was 28 inches and 18.5 pounds! I always think of her as being a much chubbier baby than Elliott but I guess by a year that had changed.

Amen to the dr's office toys. I bring wipes now. X's well check is on Friday--apparently there's a rule here that the kid HAS to already be the age that they are getting checked for, or I would have doubled up and done both kids at once last month too!!

Love your pictures--such sweet siblings!
