The House

Oh, you were hoping for pictures?  Too bad!  First I need to find the little cord that connects the camera card reader to the computer.  Does anyone remember which box it ended up in???


Moving wasn't bad.  We had lots of great help.  I think we had a total of 15 people throughout the day, and I didn't have to lift anything heavy.  We unpacked Nory's little desk and chair, I bought her a new box of crayons and a blank spiral bound notebook, and she sat pretty much ALL DAY LONG coloring.  People came and went and she was such a champion!  She loves coloring.  I have no idea where she gets it from, but she even insisted on sleeping with her new "coloring book" the first night.  I think she might like coloring more than she likes eating, and that is saying a lot!


We have been sleeping in the New House since Saturday night and it is FABULOUS.  Lots of space.  Lots of OUR OWN STUFF which I had been missing over the past two months.  A BIG closet where all of our clothes fit!  My kitchen is filled with MY kitchen items.  We have been waking up to beautiful views and sunshine the past few days.  Well, we wake up to the pitch black most days, but by the time we are out of the shower the sun is rising and then we have beautiful views :).  


My brother and sis-in-law were here to help us move and then helped us by building a fence to connect the neighbors' fences on either side to the house, and further dog proofing the yard.  They are off to Ecuador tonight, we are dog sitting Omar for the next two months. 


Anyway, I will give a photo update as soon as I can find that wire, and it will be more interesting than this one.  I just wanted to say something about how much we love our new house!
