Tomorrow, Dan has his first paid photography gig. He is taking some photos for one of the families from our birth class. Since he's going to be taking photos at noon, we decided to do a practice session yesterday at noon, to get some ideas of the lighting.
Would you pay $75 for pictures like these? Dan is charging $35 since they are friends/guinea pigs. Bargain? Rip off? See more photos from our session here.

$35 is a steal. We think you could charge that for each picture. Especially the one with the awesome rattle. But careful not to cut Judy's head off next time.
These pictures are wonderful and definitely better than any we had taken of you guys in a studio. Love them - guess the lens might be coming after all, Dan :)
Absolutely! Especially the second one with Judy & Nory smiling-lovely! My friend Mary had pix taken of her son and their dog a few years back and the charge was somewhere around $300. This included large, frameable prints, but still...
