Eleanor Klein
There once was a girl named Eleanor Klein
who would only eat chocolate, and such sweets divine.
She'd fill up her belly
with beans made of jelly
and top it all off with a licorice vine.
"Eat your darned vegetables!" her mother would blurt,
"Or there's no way in heck you're getting dessert!"
But Nory would pout
until the ice cream came out
and ate from the tub until her abdomen hurt.
Until early one morning, Nory looked in the mirror...
it did not take long to notice something quite queer.
In lieu of her head
was a Twix bar instead
with gigantic Skittles in place of each ear.
"Hooray!" Nory cried, with a chocolatey grin,
"Now I'll always have sweets as near as my chin!
This is so groovy
it's just like a movie -
I've got pigtails of frosting and taffy for skin!"
"No more brocolli, eggplant, or rutabaga stew -
Kale and cabbage, all greens I eschew!"
But when the sun rose,
it melted her nose
until all that remained was a puddle of goo.
The moral of this story is simple and dandy -
It's not all that great having a face made of candy.
So eat lots of tomatoes,
peas, turnups, and potatoes,
and you can be sure you'll feel quite outstandy!
The end.

We love you Uncle Dan and Aunt Jen! Thank you for the crazy limerick!
