A lazy weekend and some silly pictures

We love our new stroller! My parents got this for us and we could not resist opening and assembling it. We considered taking it to the beach for a test run, but thought people might wonder at our 2-D baby. It is very easy to push and we're going to use it as a jogger stroller (the front wheel locks) and for our weekend walks on the beach and other strolls around town. It even has a car seat attachment so we can start using it right away!

The weather was pretty mediocre (for Santa Barbara), so we contented ourselves with a walk around the neighborhood yesterday afternoon. This picture was taken into a mirror at a construction site at the hospital.

See, it was cloudy at the beach! Which is fine for beach walkers like me but less than optimal for beach photographers like Dan. We still had a nice walk with our friends Jason and Abby (and their new camera) on Saturday. I stole the camera to sneek in this silly shot of Dan.

Ay Caramba! 28 weeks... Have I mentioned that the baby is growing so fast my belly aches all the time? I think every time I look down, I've grown another inch. I wonder how long this growth spurt will keep up! At least it has been well documented :-)

Poor Subie. Last Thursday we went to Jason and Abby's apartment for dinner and leftover birthday cake exchange (Jason has the same birthday as Dan). The next morning we noticed that someone had backed into Subie, either at Jason and Abby's or while it was parked on our street. No note was left, and Dan is on a witch hunt to try to find a car with a tire on the back with scuff marks in the right spot.

Echo on the growth spurt, I'm not fitting so well into my t-shirts even anymore.

Your stroller looks like a LOT of fun! Who needs a Subie when you've got wheels like those?
