Nory is growing up so fast! She talks constantly. I thought it would be fun to record some of our favorite Nory-isms here.
"I want some two!" - Yep, that is not a typo... this actually means I want two of whatever it is you have. This also comes in the form of "I want some lots!" And since Nory can't say her "l's", this comes out as I want some yots!
"Some water, maybe." - Nory has started adding maybe into the middle of her sentences, and she usually doesn't mean maybe at all, but rather, I want that (whatever it is) right now!
"Look at me!" - (Pronounced, yook at me) We hear this phrase a LOT. It is sometimes followed immediately by, "I'm being not safe!"
"MommyDaddyNoryBaby???" This comes out all as one long word whenever she wants to know if we will be doing something as a family.
"My do it!" - Nory substitutes I and my all the time.
"My want to do it right now!" or the shorter version, "Right now!" - Whenever you mention anything that is going to happen tomorrow or later, Nory comes back with a very enthusiastic recommendation to do it right now. She definitely lives in the moment.
"I'm sending email on my phone!" - This is a new one. I'm pretty sure sending email on my phone is a game I never played as a kid!
"I watch Dora, please?" - We've created a Dora monster. Thank goodness each show is only 20 minutes long.
"That's so silly!" - Usually said while laughing. Sometimes in the form, "I'm so silly!"
"No, heck no!" - Dan taught Nory this phrase, she uses it all the time now and it always makes her laugh!
