A: A 2 year old in pigtails in a field of daffodils!
Yesterday we did our last "voyage" and drove up to the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon. We drove through both rain and hail to get there but the weather was surprisingly nice when we actually got out to the fields. Nory was cranky as could be (this was explained later in the afternoon when she napped from 1:30-5:30pm, poor kid was exhausted!) but we still managed to take some cute photos!
Contributing to cranky was the fact that her rain boots are still a size too big, which she usually manages to do well enough in but the fields were full of deep, sticky mud. So she couldn't take a step without almost stepping out of her boots! Which meant that she did NOT want to let go of mommy's hand, or Daddy's hand, which makes for difficult photos.
