Okay, so I don't have many actual pictures of grandma and grandpa Klein. For one thing, grandpa Klein is only rarely found without his head tucked behind a camera or computer (Dan comes by his addictions honestly). You will have to take our word for it that they came to visit us. Unfortunately Nory picked that week to be sick - boo.
The first day we went to see the Freemans and we all went to a lovely winery in Santa Ynez (or possibly Solvang... we drove a ways). Nory cried the entire time at the winery. She never ever stopped. I had her in the Ergo and did laps around the vineyard, thinking that eventually she just had to pass out in exhaustion. Nope.
For several days, if Nory wasn't crying, she was extremely clingy in an I-want-my-mommy-ONLY sort of way. A huge bummer considering we had free babysitters! She also started sleeping horribly which meant that mommy was also feeling pretty down and out.
Near the end of the visit Nory started to improve. We all went to Redlands to visit the other grandparents. Not too many opportunities for this!
We took these pictures in a local SB park. She really loved my hat (which was originally great-grandma Wilma's!)
I finally took Nory to the doctor, by the way... today. Better late than never. Whatever virus Nory had while the Klein's were visiting eventually manifested itself in a rash, which, when shown to my doctor, inspired the comment, "Wow, that's a really funky rash!" Ah, the joys of parenting.

I don't know how you do it - these pictures are wonderful even though Nory wasn't feeling well! Thanks so much for the patience to get these great pics
So I'm a little late commenting on this one. Judy - you should cut the top off that hat, it'd be awesome!
Just catching up...such cute pictures, but sorry she didn't feel well!
