Pre-teething and other 4 month milestones

We are in the age of pre-teeth. Apparently this stage can last several months! It involves constant drool and chewing, mostly of Nory's own little fingers. They are in her mouth almost the entire time she is awake during the day! Always the happy camper, this pre-teeth stage has not seemed to dampen Nory's spirits at all - just her shirts.

We are also hitting some 4 month milestones: lots of babbling,

enjoying tummy time,

and a huge interest in toys!

Looking forward to a trip to Seattle next week to celebrate my (gulp) 30th birthday. I'm not sure if I can really squeeze visiting every person I love, and working, into 5 days, but I'm sure going to try!

So, we've been lazy about commenting on your blog of late so here's a shotgun reply to all recent posts...
MORE BABIES: Congrats Christine & Cameron! And good pot & wine photos...though you may want to look into setting up a "therapy fund" for her future.
$22 IN THE CAMERA FUND: Say wuh, 22?!? Does this include pedicure? Looks pretty good though, we must admit.
MAMATOTO: Huh?
RUNNING: What you need is good ol' fashioned motivation, like a pack of wolves running after you, or maybe a pint of Ben & Jerry's after each successful mile. But seriously good job on the running and keep it up, you are doing much better than either of us and we have no kid excuse.
PRE-TEETHING: Um, we don't know much about this either but it sounds significantly better than post-teething.
