One of the pluses of getting an older, unreliable, BMW instead of a new, cheaper, reliable car when Dan got his job is that he gets to tinker with it. Dan calls it "maintenance." It might not be as fast as taking the car to the shop, but it sure is a heck of a lot cheaper! Sometimes Nory helps. When daddy does the jack, "I stay back back by the bicycles."
One of the pluses of having kids was that Dan gets to create a car lover and then share car enthusiasm with them, instead of me!
