Things we did NOT do today

This post is dedicated to my friend Alison, who asked for a whole bunch of iPodPhone pictures :).

On Friday Nory didn't eat much, so Friday night she woke up in the middle of the night twice, starving. So when we both got up Saturday morning, I was feeling a bit groggy. Nory sat in her high chair while I had some breakfast. Here she is, NOT eating. Although she did manage to get squash all over her pajamas somehow.

It was raining today. I didn't invest in the "rain cover" that is sold separately for our stroller, I figured I could just wing it on those few days a year it rains. Here is Finny asking for his walk, and NOT getting it.

I set Nory down in the living room while I did some dishes. She managed to scoot herself backward across the room and under the Christmas tree. Then she pivoted herself around and tried to open a present! I think she really just wanted to eat the paper, but still, I told her she had to wait for Christmas. Here she is NOT opening her presents early.

After Not Naptime, Nory and I went and looked at a couple of rental houses. There sure are a lot of yucky places to live in SB. We saw two that we will NOT be living in.

This afternoon we had a nice visit with my friend Lisa. Here is Nory, NOT crying while Lisa played with her. Nory loves Lisa! (She has developed some stranger anxiety lately and has not done very well with strangers. Okay, actually she hasn't been doing very well with anybody besides me while she was teething. But I think those days are over!).

As I mentioned, it was raining. I loved it. We went on a walk. Here are Lisa and Nory NOT staying in.

While Nory took her afternoon nap, I decided to make some bread. I put it in the warm oven to rise. Unfortunately my bowl was too small. Here is my bread dough, NOT fitting in its bowl.
Finny has taken to hanging out in the trunk in the garage during the day. I think he is afraid of being left behind. If the trunk is closed, he will sleep right behind the car on the garage floor. Abby made cookies. Yum! Here are the cookies, NOT eaten yet!

And here is Nory, NOT going to bed. She finally went to sleep around 9pm. Too late for this little girl!
