It's a girl!

That's right, we are having a girl. You might ask how we can know this without having had our telltale 20 week ultrasound. Ha, skeptics! In fact we performed a very scientifically valid study - the age old coin toss.

Before the coin toss, we had already agreed head for boy (George Washington), tail for girl. The coin was ceremoniously flipped... it bounced off the ceiling, off Dan's wedding ring when he tried to catch it, and disappeared. We found it finally under the dog. And it was... TAILS! And, it turns out, not just any tail. The Wisconsin State Quarter tail! You might not know this, but "Forward" is Wisconsin's state motto, and there is a well known (if you are from Wisconsin) statue at the Wisconsin capital building called "Lady Forward."

What more proof do you need? We can't wait to meet our little girl. And yes, we will probably still get the ultrasound, and verify our well researched scientific conclusion... just in case.

I am so relived to know that your baby's gender has been so solidly researched by such secure and logical methods. I would not expect less from two engineers! What really gives me comfort is that I know it is true...after all, I read it on the internet!

You're fun where ever you show up Judy! Welcome to blogging!
