It is hard to hate Santa Barbara

As much as I miss Washington, and love following the seasons throughout the year, it is really hard to hate Santa Barbara when we are at the beach. In the background of this photo you can see Dan's engineering building and the UCSB campus. We took this photo this past Saturday morning, it was warm enough to leave our sweatshirts in the car and Finny practiced fetching in the waves. The waves weren't very big, but I guess if you are a dog they almost come up to your head (and sometimes over it)!
