Don't be fooled by the photo - the child does not sleep. Which is to say, he sleeps one of two ways: attached to the breast or in a sling. When I put him down, he cries. When I put him in the car seat, he cries. Stick anything but a breast in his mouth (such as your finger or a pacifier), he cries. At first I thought that this was because he wasn't getting enough milk, but that does not appear to be the case. At least he is gaining weight well and having lots of poopy and wet diapers.
Mommy is going crazy with sleep deprivation. Nory is going crazy with mommy deprivation. Something has got to be done. If only I knew what! Suggestions?
At least he is nursing better - you win some, you lose some!

Can Nory wear the sling while you take a nap? It's almost like a backpack, so it would keep her entertained while big-E gets some shut-eye. Genius!
Maybe he needs an exercise program so he will be sleepier at bedtime..

Call Kimber, she wore Maleah for every nap the 1st 3months.....
Not sure I have great suggestions. Moira nursed every 1-2 hrs for months. It was that or screaming. (Not that it fixed things in the evening) But once the colic subsided, that improved.
I would put Moira in the bjorn and go on a walk and play with Peter on the walk. Moira slept. Doesn't get you sleep, but it might help w/Nory. It makes it easy to take to the park during nap time and goof off.
Baby swing? bouncing on a large exercise ball? Both of these worked sometimes with grandson Patrick, who screamed if detached from Mama. Also, try warming the bed before placing him in it.

I feel your pain!! Does that help? ;) Do what you can, hey at least you have a way to sleep him...the bright side right? Wear him when you can, do what you can. TV shows we like: Super Why, Curious George, Cat in the Hat, along with Dora. I know TV is not the best, but this is a stage, you gotta do what you can...and these shows are educational! Wish I could wear him for you to give you a break! I like the idea of Nory wearing him..if only that could really work!! :)
