We took a walk down to the local elementary school to let Nory play at the playground. She enjoyed swinging, playing on the dinosaurs, and sliding - with and without grownup help.

... and here is Nory after Daddy convinced me that she could go down the slide all by herself.
I argued that 11 months was too early to be self-sliding, and Dan argued that she would be fine. I finally let her try it - she crawled to the edge of the slide, flopped down on her belly, and slid face first into Nana's arms. She loved it.
On the way home, the sun came out, and I hadn't packed a hat. So Nory ended up in Grandpa's hat.

ELEVEN Months! Crazy! Love the slide portion of the post. Sounds like she had a great time!

3. I had that same argument about sliding with Jonathan last weekend...but going down on his stomach did not turn out so well for Charlie. He didn't keep his head up and he ended up with slide burn on one side of his forehead!
