1 baby = 3 full time jobs

A happy family

Day 5 (I think?) - Have I mentioned how much I love love LOVE not being pregnant? First of all, I can lay on my stomach. Wow, does that ever seem like a luxury! Also, my back and ribs had hurt for the past 3 months solid and now, the pain is gone! Other parts of me are sore... but the kind of pain that diminishes, not increases. And the best of the best is that I have an amazing little daughter! I'm still a little surprised by it.

Our daily life now consist of feeding the baby, dressing the baby, changing the baby, photographing the baby, and that's pretty much it. Hard to imagine that those few things can be a full time job for two people! And even harder to imagine that it is so much fun. My mom is also working full time to do all of our laundry, cooking, and cleaning - not sure how fun that part is but we sure appreciate the help! Yesterday, we went to the pediatrician - a grand adventure. Dan and I both showered, put on real clothes, wrapped up Nory, and actually left the house, only 5 minutes after the start of our appointment. We were both feeling very proud of ourselves! We took the opportunity to snap the family photo shown above.

A grand hello to all of our friends and family far away - I think the hardest part of this is not being able to show off our new baby to you!

What a cute family! Dan, don't forget to send us a Nory .jpg or two so that we can proudly show off our new niece on our blog.
